First time in Destin and I have to say, WOW! Our host, Jenn, really has an amazing place. The layout is perfect and spacious. The furniture is met all of needs and then some. The decor is top notch! The entire condo made us feel like we were genuinely being taken care of! The pool is large with plenty of space to relax and cook out of have lunch. Plus there is a hot tub to relax those shoulders after the long drive. Our cleaning lady was even the most wonderful person to chat with. And she did a great job! Thank you Jenn and thank you Beach Resort! We will be back!
This place was great. The pool was super awesome for my 3 year old. Zero entry and a fountain to play in and then a separate heated pool plus a hot tub. He never wanted to leave the pool area. Their entrance to the beach is not a bad walk but it would have been nice to have it directly in front of the resort. Their beach entrance is down a little walk to the left, if you are facing the ocean. We would return here though, the condo was really nice and I was surprised at the size of the kitchen. Oh and my son loved the bunks. They were placed perfectly so that he could hang out there and still not feel too far away from us in the living area.
We really enjoyed our stay here! If I hate to rate on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 8. Here's my pros and cons list... Pros: Location- most everything within walking distance Cleanliness- clean rooms, streets, and city in general Nice people/quiet neighborhood Heated pool/Hot tub Room looks right out towards the pool. Everything worked in the room (TVs were a bit older but did the job). Beach is just accross the street Cons: Having one key to get in and out of the pool. I like having a code entry so my family and I can come and go as we please. We got locked out a few times. Just inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Beach entrance is pretty far away. The first 3 beach entrances belong to other properties and the one for this particular property is out of the way. We ended up getting a code from other guests and never actually used our designated! entrance. The hot tub. Is really nice and always got/clean. But... It's always full! People camp in that dang thing. We always had to run and jump in it whenever we saw it wasn't completely full of people. Final verdict. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The price is very fair and we absolutely loved our stay here. Great views of the gulf and we saw some incredible sunsets and sun rises. Hope this is helpful! Cheers, The Tuala's
